I definitely used to feel like I was going to have to settle. Now, don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE being a mom and a wife. There is truly no greater joy in the world. However, I didn’t want to JUST be a wife and mom… there’s a difference.

I wanted to be the best mom in the world, and the most loving wife, AND live the life I have always dreamed of building for myself.

And guess what, ladies? IT IS POSSIBLE!!! I have cracked the code on living your best, most passionate, life, while still being a rockstar in the space you’re at now.



9 Positive Affirmations

I broke it down into 9 simple steps for you. You can incorporate these steps in to a 9-day challenge or spread it out over 9 months and work on one area a month, but whatever you do, you’re going to see massive changes in your life just by applying these to your daily & weekly routines.


1. Practice Self-Love

Finding your self-worth and truly loving yourself is CRUCIAL to developing into the woman you have always dreamed of becoming… That fearless ambitious woman who is successful in ALL areas of her life.

Positive Affirmations Action: Journaling about yourself is a great way to find and develop that love and respect for who you are and who you want to become.

Some great questions to ask are:

  • What do I deserve in life?
  • Why?
  • What are 10 things you LOVE about yourself right now?
  • What are your strengths?
  • What makes you feel proud of yourself?

Write about the woman you WANT to become and then act like her every day!

2. Gratitude

When we become grateful humans we are open and able to receive more positivity into our own life. Showing gratitude is one of the healthiest habits we can develop.

The more gratitude we show the more truly good things we will attract in our lives.

Positive Affirmations Action: Give out compliments like they’re confetti. Keep a gratitude journal to write down 3 to 5 different things you are grateful for every day.

When you have a negative thought cut it out with positive, uplifting thoughts.

3. Cultivate Positivity

Positive thinking paired with positive action will give you massive success. It will be hard, but if you find yourself doubting, think back to success you’ve had in the past and find the gold lining for the future.

Even though it can be difficult you may need to cut the negative people out of your life and stop spending so much time on social media.

Positive Affirmations Action: Telling yourself positive affirmations in the mirror every morning. Spend less time with negative people. Don’t gossip, find the good in others.


4. Declutter Your Space

Even Albert Einstein believed “out of clutter find simplicity”. Decluttering your life and your things can really give you clarity and focus on the things that actually matter.

Clutter causes so much stress and will reduce your productivity. Clutter is just stuck energy.

Positive Affirmations Action: Clear your house from anything that is not needed. Schedule decluttering time every day, you can accomplish a lot in 5-10 minutes.

Figure out why the clutter needs to go. Write down the feelings that clutter gives you, then erase it and write over those negative feelings with how decluttering your space will make you feel. If you haven’t used it in one year… throw it out. 


5. Take Care of Your Body

It’s never too late, or too early, to start focusing on the health and fitness of your body. You only have one mind and body to live in… so take care of it, and it will take care of you. Health is the real wealth.

Positive Affirmations Action: Aim to drink a gallon of water a day. Shower regularly. Exercise AND stretch for 30 minutes a day. Eat balanced meals (but if you want a cupcake, don’t be afraid to eat the dang cupcake).

Make sleep a high priority. Make yourself laugh EVERY day.  


6. Your Circle of Influence

When you step out of your circle your influence and control shrinks. Wherever you are right now, that’s your stage, stay there and spread your spirit to whoever is in that space.

Everyone has a calling, you will find yours IN your circle. The more you focus on the things that you actually can control, the more your circle of influence will grow.


Positive Affirmations Action: Only focus on things you can control, don’t waste time worrying about things that you literally can not change. Admit when you make a mistake and then fix it. Keep your commitments. Be someone others will admire.

7. Detaching

Staying in your circle of influence can sometimes be difficult and will really test your self-control.

But, being able to detach will allow you to truly feel and experience your emotions and thoughts, without those emotions and thoughts determining your actions.

Positive Affirmations Action: Don’t give advice unless you are asked. Speak and do with specific intention.

Remember you are not responsible for other people’s actions and opinions. If you can’t keep quiet about something that doesn’t directly affect you, leave the room.



8. Find Your Passion


Finding something you are passionate about is not just about finding something to help you make money, and it’s more than just a hobby. Finding and developing your passion is about finding your authentic self.

If your mind and soul is being drawn to something, don’t ignore that pull. That’s what you’re made to do.

Positive Affirmations Action: Write a “If I didn’t need money” list. If you could share one message with the world, what would it be? What is something you’ve always wanted to do, but felt scared to pursue?

Write a list of people you admire (whether you know them or not) and why you admire them. Take action on SOMETHING that excites you!

9. Break Out

Breaking out of the current place you’re at right now can be scary, but do not give up. Set some goals, connect with like-minded people, want it more than you can breathe, and then don’t give up.

If you stay persistent with everything mentioned above, breaking out will be a seamless process.

Positive Affirmations Action: Make a vision board. Connect with like-minded women powerhouses.

Befriend women who are living the life you want. Have time to yourself for 30 minutes a day. Set short-term and long-term goals, then CRUSH them!
